Sorry

So clearly it's been months since my last post and I truly apologize! A lot of things are on my plate so time management isn't exactly my best quality lol. I hope I can be more consistent from now on & bring some pretty cool stuff to post :)

Thrift

(I know the quality of the picture isn't too great but I'm working on that.) I prefer vintage, original, & thrifty finds over more recent looks of today's trends. Not to say that I wouldn't incorporate a piece into my overall look, but you probably won't be able to find all my pieces in popular stores. In my opinion, thrift stores are a gift from the heavens lol. As a mother I'm able to save money on materialistic things and save for more important things, like my daughters future!
This was the outfit I wore to work yesterday. A mix of girly charm with a splash of toughness and a whole lot of comfort! It was a total of 35$!

The shirt: Carolyn Taylor-5$, Jeans: Gap-5$, "Combat" Boots: No brand-25$

Intro to my Convictions

  • con·vic·tion

[kuhn-vik-shuhn]
noun
1. a fixed or firm belief.
2. the act of convicting.
3. the state of being convicted.
4. the act of convincing.
5. the state of being convinced.
  • Now that you all have read what the possible defnitions of conviction are, I would like to introduce to you the name of my blog: CONVICTIONS. I decided to name my blog after the word conviction. Why? Because every topic that I will post, discuss, & write on, is something I feel strongly for/about. I am convinced that bringing forth my ideas and feelings will somehow reach out to someone, if not many, and make a change! Since I was younger that's all I'd ever imagine, making a difference in this world... Great or small, it doesn't matter. The sense of spiritual satisfaction I recieve in helping others has always been a key characteristic to my personality. In conclusion, I hope you all enjoy ME as a person, as well as my work, and what I have to offer to you all!
